The Inventor and Maker

Originally from upstate New York and now just outside of Chicago, Laura Kemner worked in advertising for an impressive 30 years. When she wasn’t writing for brands big and small, she was experimenting in furniture reupholstery and decoration, jewelry making, and floor painting. There was a constant effort to take the ordinary, and recreate it into something more interesting. And then, she had a very bright idea.
